HELP ME LOWER YOU PLUMBING SERVICE COSTS!

Lowering prices for homeowners for basic plumbing repairs, is a top priority of Derry Plumbing and Heating. That is why we are advocating for legislation before the New Hampshire Legislature to create a Certified Service Plumber license.

Current law requires an Apprentice Plumber to work with a Journeyman Plumber for at least four years, before being able to conduct even the simplest of services, which in-creases the cost, for you, the customer.

SB 362 would allow an Apprentice to become a Certified Service Plumber after one year of training, to do incidental repairs or maintenance on their own, after passing a state issued test. Not having to pay a Journeyman Plumber will greatly reduce costs for you, the homeowner, and we in the plumbing industry support this.
